William Shreve, Esq.

Managing Partner

Mr. Shreve is a 1990 graduate of Huntingdon Area High School. In 1994, Mr. Shreve graduated from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania, cum laude. He majored in Criminal Justice with a pre-law minor. Mr. Shreve earned his Juris Doctorate in 1998 from the Widener University School of Law located in Harrisburg, PA. From 1996 through 2000, Mr. Shreve served as a Dauphin County Assistant Public Defender advocating for individuals charged with Driving Under the Influence, and hundreds of crimes from the crimes code. He has argued before the Superior, Supreme, and Commonwealth Courts of Appeals.

From 2000 through 2013, Mr. Shreve prosecuted child abuse cases on behalf of Dauphin County in all applicable courts in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. He created multiple child welfare and prosecution training for Judges and lawyers in Dauphin County and across the state. In 2000, Mr. Shreve created the Shreve Law Group and is the managing partner of the firm. Mr. Shreve specializes in Criminal Defense and Family Law. He is a member of the Dauphin County Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Bar Association. He is admitted to practice law in all Pennsylvania Courts of Common Pleas and within the Middle District of Pennsylvania in Federal Court. He was formerly Secretary and has served on the Dauphin County Pre-trial Services Board since 2000.

Mr. Shreve handles all types of criminal cases. He has defended thousands of clients charged with major crimes such as Aggravated Assault, Felony Drug Charges, Rape, Robbery, Child Abuse, and Homicide. Mr. Shreve also represents clients charged with lesser offenses such as Traffic Violations, Underage Drinking, Driving Under the Influence, and Disorderly Conduct. From 2000 to 2013, Mr. Shreve served Dauphin County as Solicitor for Children and Youth Services. From 2001-2008, he served as a Hearing Examiner for Dauphin County having been appointed to this position by Dauphin County President Judge Richard A. Lewis.
